Tutorial for Connecting PayPal to Systeme.io: Easily Activate Your Payments

Systeme.io offers a variety of payment methods that you can integrate into your sales pages.

Among the solutions, you’ll find, of course, Stripe and PayPal.

While connecting Stripe is super easy, connecting PayPal to your Systeme.io account can sometimes be a little more technical.

Here’s a complete tutorial to help you quickly connect Systeme.io to PayPal.

It’s a prerequisite: you must have a PayPal Business account to connect it to Systeme.io!

It’s free and quick to set up, so do it right away if you don’t have one yet. You can find the instructions on how to set up a PayPal Business account on their website.

I urge you to fill out all your professional information thoroughly to reassure PayPal and avoid any unexpected account closures. It’s very important!

And yes, you can create a PayPal Business account even if you don’t have a formal business. Just enter your name instead of a business name, and you’re good to go.

Obviously, if you’re here, I assume you already have a Systeme.io account.

If not, know that even with a free account, you can connect Systeme.io to PayPal.

You need to go to Settings at the top right of your screen on Systeme.io.

Hover over your profile picture and simply click on “Settings”

Then go to “Payment Gateways” and you’ll see all the payment methods you can connect to your Systeme.io account, including PayPal.

Next, simply click the “Connect” button at the end of the PayPal line, and a pop-up will open.

You will need to gather some information from your PayPal Business account to complete and confirm the connection.

Now go to your PayPal Business account!

In your PayPal Business account, hover over your username at the top right of your screen and click on “Account Settings”

Stay on the “Account Access” tab and click on the “API Access” line.

Scroll down a bit to find “NVP/SOAP API Integration (Classic)” and click on it.

A new pop-up will open, containing all the information you need to connect Systeme.io to PayPal.

All you have to do is copy and paste the information from this pop-up into your Systeme.io account to finalize the connection between PayPal and your Systeme.io account!

And that’s it, you’ve successfully connected your PayPal account to Systeme.io to receive payments from around the world!

There’s nothing more frustrating than having your PayPal account banned while you still have money locked in it… most of us have been there, and it’s a real hassle!

Go to “Activity,” then “All Transactions”

Next, click on each received payment and validate the delivery (there might be a way to automate this, but I haven’t found it yet; if you know the trick, please share it in the comments).

To do this, click on each payment line, click the three dots, and choose “Add Tracking”

Then simply complete it by indicating “Order Processed”

And that’s all.

But do this every time, for every payment you receive on PayPal via Systeme.io.
